Need a fresh sleeve for an active recovery? The K9 TailSaver® Replacement Tail Sleeve is the padded, breathable outer layer that covers and protects your dog's injured tail. Whether your original has worn through, needs a wash while your dog stays protected, or you want a backup on hand for multi-dog households and rescue foster programs, this is the exact sleeve used in the full K9 TailSaver® set.
What Makes This Sleeve Different
- Padded Protection: Soft inner lining cushions the tail tip against impact with walls, furniture, and flooring — the #1 re-injury mechanism for Happy Tail Syndrome.
- Breathable Canvas Shell: Allows airflow across the wound and dressing underneath, reducing moisture buildup that slows healing.
- Secure Snap Attachment: Snap connectors mate directly to the K9 TailSaver® harness system. No adhesives, no tape — the sleeve is completely self-contained.
- Machine Washable: Remove, wash on cold gentle cycle, hang dry. Most owners rotate two sleeves on a daily cleaning schedule.

Our sleeve sizes are determined by a breed-and-tail-measurement system that doesn't always correspond directly to the harness label size.
